Seremban Trip - Malaysia!

Hi everyone!,

I'm sorry with the lack of updates! so i'm compensating with some photos from my trip to malaysia (i seldom post photo story oh!)

First trip to Malaysia on a night ride on the train! it took us 6hrs to reach our destination!!!!

Finally reached and taking a rest at my uncle's place before booking in to our hotel!

Whats better than a durian feast in Malaysia? We even got freshly plucked coconut too!

Eating ice-cream with my cousin. Their unique cone attracts all of us!~

Visit to one of the high class resorts nearby where we stay...

Final day and a BIG FAMILY photoshoot!!!!

Had a wonderful day at the beach with half of my cousins!!!! heehee!!!

And off course our final day shopping! bought some stuff but i like my new room slippers best! :)

What is happening to my final semester?

This semester is total hell!!!!! so many stupid things happen!

first a change in tutorial class because i'm the only who who hasnt complete my final module for my extra cert (not my fault also ah, the school dun wan give it to me last semester)

Projects are coming in like crazy....

Lecturer wasting time during lecture not talking on impt points and another insisted that the project is not done by us! (say extract only) when i spent 5hr just to sort the data for 1 graph!!!!!

AHHHH!!!! WHATS GOING ON!!!!!

I think i'm breakind down soon!!!!

Went to a friends wedding this morning and the weather was real good. It didnt rain untill the time a went home :) a blessed day indeed.

Decided to try out the flavoured Lipton tea that i bought the other day wheni went grocery shopping.

It taste very berry and refreshing and smoothing! :) Loving it! Something different when you have time to relax, have your favourite book or magazine and complete it with some music and a cup of tea. :)

What if you had to go through your daily routine without seeing anything?

Today i got a chance to go for a tour at "Dialogue in the Dark- Singapore" which is located in our very own school campus (Ngee Ann Polytechnic)!!!!!!

Our school scheduled our experience under our world issue module to let us have a experience what it is like to live in the dark and learn to appreciate and learn to care for those visually impact friends around us.

My guided tour in the dark was guided by our awesome tour guide Serene! She is a very cheerful and nice person and she also gladly shared with us her story. We really appreciated her guide today!

Last week of holiday and a new and final semester in polytechnic is about to arrive!

my timetable of 7 modules doesn't seems to have any difference from my last semester's with 4 modules only. hmm... i actually have thursdays and friday free off school!!!!!

something to be happy about or to worry that i wont have enough time for all the projects that will be piling up when school reopen?. haiz...

anyway i'm going to enjoy my holidays as much as i can now before Mr Stress knocks on my doors! :P

2nd week of school holiday!

Last week was the end of the 2nd week of school holiday! Had a wonderful week!

Wed cheng came over and we did some baking for her sister's birthday! WEE!!! Baking is always so enjoyable even when its tiring...

Anything that happen in the kitchen is GREAT!

Thursday did baking again and i baked a raisin cake for the family (because they complain say i took out the instruments but did bake anything for them) HAHA!!!!

Friday and Saturday is the most exciting!!! PlayMax LIVE! took place and i went to help out for both days from 8:30am! (i'll post up some photos as soon as i get hold of some! :D)

Saturday Night had my first Youth Fellowship Satay Night and it was enjoyable and had a great time of fellowship...

But as holidays come into the third week.... i'm starting to get bored le! :(

The Smurfs!!!!

Review:

WEEE!!!!! Out of boredom i agreed to go for the movie date with my friends. Went to watch the smurf on friday with dylan, amethyst, chenwei and nicky and it was great!

I'm more of a romance, mystery movie junkie. Quite contradicting right. 2 extreme different type of movie style. and i shall admit that i'm not a huge fan of such comedy movies.

But i must say "The Smurfs" is a GREAT movie to catch! It made me laugh throughout the entire movie!!!! ENJOYABLE to the MAX!!!!!

So friends out there catch the movie before it's to late! You'll never regret because i didnt!!!!

Went for Bloomberg Research Drive training and this is the access pass i got. HAHA

Their working place is super atas. Their pantry has free flow of food and drinks and of large variety!!! So feel like working there but will feel super stressed eh!!!!

The training was not to bad as we realise that we could use some of the functions to get data for our Final Year Project (FYP). So super happy! We're going back school to use the machine that our school bought for S$36,000 just to use/access bloomberg drive.

Had a long day today. Going to rest now. TATA!

K... i know this post is kinda late cause i've been back from Desaru for a week already!!!. HAHA!!!

We had a great church retreat at desaru with a group of new room mates and new group mates for discussion... i even helped out for the games!!!! :D

It was definitely a great trip minusing that we stayed at the resort for almost all the time (we were at The Pulai Desaru Beach Resort)
Didnt have any trips out around the area.

But just being with church friends is good enough! Fun, laughter and sharing is perfect!

Resolutions

In the midst of studying for exams which would mark the end of my Poly Year 2, i' ve decided to make so resolutions which i normally dont as i feel as we get older, changes have to be done to make life more meaningful...

i used to think life is just so simple but as time passes its not so true...

people change and you have to change not to make those that think your not good like you but for my own better.

1) Really put my thoughts into some serious studying. Results really matter
2) Do my best during exams
3) Present my best during internship (since my results are not working out very well now i should make it up through working experience)
4) Make the best out of my life! (even when there are people out there who dislike me - which i dont know the reason why cause they dont say, being myself is who i am)
5) Build up my blogshop - side career
6) Frequent updating my life story for those who are interested and cares for me.<3<3
7) Make changes to my life bit by bit to make it more pleasant
8) Treasure friends and families around me
9) Loving GOD more and more

HAHA! i manage to find a new way to study and it WORK!
i prepared these notes for my Hotel Recreational Facilities Management test which took place yesterday and i can remember at least 75%!

why didnt i do this from the start of the 2nd year when things start to get more and more wordy!

i squeezed 4 chapters in just one A4 size paper and it made memorising work so much easier!
hais.... oh wells... i'll be doing this for the next few papers if possible at least to pull back my GPA!!!!

came back from china 3 weeks already and found many interesting things that happened while i'm away.

today, went to cheers and saw this new flavoured Potato Chips!

just like in china - chips comes in weird weird flavours like braised pork flavour. haha!

well, bought it and tasted it and all i can say,
china win in weird weird flavoured chips as they really taste like the original product.

It’s free and easy today and we decided to go for our last shopping at Carrefour. They bought many stuffs and I bought some little stuff for friends and family.

Went back to the hostel to complete a video which, we are presenting to Louise and Edith. I did the photo editing and Alyssa and Shermond did the video. We weren’t able input all the photos as at last minute, the card reader died on us. What can we do? All we could do is just to state our apologies for the lack of photos for the last few days in Wuhan.
All of us stayed up late to pack our luggage and to complete the video.

16th Oct - Day 32

Long arranged for a tour to other universities to take a look and we heard from Edith that there might be a Anti-Japan Riot that is going to be held. And so we didn’t go too far nor anywhere near Japanese stores.

Taking a look at other universities really made me realize how big china is as Wuhan alone is already that big as each university can consist of their very own lake or pond! So cool! Just sitting around and chat with friends can really relax oneself. We had street food for lunch and we had chats as we walked. We had a really nice buddy chat.

Went back early as the Sun is that bright that I couldn’t stand not washing any clothes and hanging them out. Haha!

晓飞 then asked me out for dinner and we had chats and Jerry called and invited me to take a look at their dance party. Their dance party are usually held on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. It looks more like a big and outdoor park to me. Not used to the atmosphere and so I decided to go back to the hostel early to rest.

15th Oct - Day 33

Graduation! It’s our big day! We went to Carrefour to shop for formal shoes and blazer as Gladys doesn’t have a formal shoe and Pamela doesn’t have both. Halfway through, Jerry called and said he needed help to translate his speech which he is going to present during our graduation ceremony. And so I left early and took the bus back to the hostel to meet him and also to look for Mr Satha to get a hard copy of his speech as I need to translate it to Chinese too.

After translation I changed into my formal wear and rushed down to the printing shop to get Mr Satha’s Speech in Chinese version printed as I don’t have the time to hand write it out. We are to assemble at the hostel gate at 3:00pm to walk to the meeting hall together.

However, as we waited for everyone, Louise called and asked where we were. It is then we realized that it is suppose to start at 3:00pm! We’re late again! But it was really a miscommunication as all of us heard that it’s going to start at 3:30pm and that is why we decided to meet at 3:00pm. Probably there was a change in time and Louise forgot to inform us.

When we reached there, the Dean and other teachers are already sitting there waiting for us. Even the student representatives. First, we ran through the ceremony procedure. The Dean started to give his speech and 张老师 translated it. Next, Mr Satha gave his speech and I translated it. I was so super nervous and I wasn’t prepared and so there was little mistakes as I translated. Next is Andrew’s and my turn for our speech. Andrew’s was in English and mine in Chinese. This time round, I was prepared and so it went smoothly. Jerry and Mr Andy took their turn in presenting a speech too.

And last but not least, our certificate presentation presented by the Dean. We are so super honored! And in turn, Mr Satha present gifts to the Dean too. What a heartwarming scene. We all went down to take a group photo and this marks the end of our 5 weeks study in Wuhan Polytechnic. Awww….
We all went to the restaurant together after all the photo-taking and our friends all arrived soon after. I ushered the teachers in to the VIP room and we all had a wonderful dinner. We had lots of fun playing crazy games and mark the end of the dinner only when we realize the local friends still have lessons to attend. We were all very reluctant to end the dinner so early. It’s hard to bid farewell with only a few days of getting together.

14th Oct - Day 31

Industrial park visit. Got a feel of how big China is with the fact that 1/6 of the industrial park is already as big as our Shenton Way! It was interesting to see all the building structures and get to know their design concept and how they manage their buildings. Very useful for REB students as we might be property managers in future. Also, we went to take a look at their residential area. All I could say is that their middle class and high-end estates are really luxurious. Their HDB is our Condominium and their Bungalow is our Villa. What a luxury can that be? How I wish the buildings are in Singapore as their price for purchase is really affordable! We even joked with Mr Satha to buy a unit so that we can have chalet in China during our holiday!

And, due to the high believe in Fengshui in China, their estate layout is very interesting. As Chinese has a Chinese believe that there is a Chinese immortal that lives in a bottle – in Chinese it’s called 葫芦 and so their estate layout is designed with a narrow entrance and as it proceeds, the buildings are arranged round to shape like a Chinese bottle. They believe that with these, the people who lives in the estate will have longevity and live a healthy life.

Got back to hostel and had dinner before going for the farewell party that the local students from the school of IT prepared for us. Jerry and Wen Zhan arrived at our hostel to bring us to the classroom where the party was to be held. They decorated the whole classroom and gave us a very warm welcome. So happy and excited!

I helped to translate what Jim said and we had lots of fun and laughter! There were games and singing and everyone were contented! It left us with a memorable night and stay in Wuhan!

13th Oct - Day 30

8:30am in the morning!!!! I woke up at 7:30am!!!! Went for Andy’s lesson and to continue Mr Satha’s last lesson. Andy have some topics to complete from the previous lesson and so he arranged a 8:30am lesson. Oh well, local students starts lesson at 8am and so can’t blame their teacher for setting the time so early. I admit Singapore students like to wake up late!

Mr Andy’s lesson was very enriching however most of us couldn’t really catch it as what I realize is that the materials prepared and taught were of more usage for career aspect and for those who already have experience in the working field. To us who are still studying might not be able to understand such topics. Well, it still took Mr Andy lots of effort to prepare these materials and so let’s do appreciate. Probably we would use it in the future.

Next up, Mr Satha’s lesson. He completed our last chapter and we have to rush to have our lunch before we meet another group of students to have another interaction section. This trip is still arranged my Edith. We really got to thank her.

We went and took a look at some temples and the red house in Wuhan with the local students. As I’m a Christian, the temples are of no interest to me. But of course out of politeness, I listened to them explaining about the Tao culture. Well, getting to know another religion is not a bad thing but of course be very strong in your own believe and not be shaken by any temptations and influences.

So as not to be caught in a jam, we left for our hostel early again. Well, reaching back to the hostel early is better than being stuck in a jam for hours on the bus.

Jerry and Jim came to our hostel and had meeting with us (me, Weishan and Matin) to prepare for the party that they are going to prepare for us tomorrow. I was appointed to be the MC for Singaporean students and Jim for the Local students. We decided on some games and introduced Wacko to them too. It’s going to be a fun day tomorrow night!

12th Oct - Day 29

First interaction with the local students! So super excited! We assembled at the hostel gate thinking that the students would come and lead us to the classroom. However, there was a misunderstanding, they are meeting us at the entrance of the building and not our hostel and so we were late and we walked as quickly as possible, although some still didn’t notice the situation and walked as per normal.

We were warmly welcomed into their class by their students and were arranged to sit between the students for better interaction during class. Edith arranged for us to attend her lesson to give us a feel of local study and also to interact with her students. They were all very friendly and even Edith couldn’t believe that within that short period of time, we all could become such close friends!

The students took us for lunch and talked about their study life and their experience. My buddy was Jordan and Long. They are very nice. Long even arranged for a second meet-up to bring me around to take a look at other universities around.

Had to end lunch early as we still have a IS lesson to attend in the afternoon. I was the first to arrive to class and Jordan and Long were nice enough to accompany me until the others arrive. Thank You!

Another Day of rest marks the end of the day. I seriously need my sleep. My energy is running low. I need to replenish. Goodnight!

11th Oct - Day 28

LcL Presentation Day! But something happened. Was in a dazed mode when I heard Pamela calling for Gladys. Andrew got injured at the back! We rushed up to their apartment and took a look. Luckily it was just light injury just that the impact as he hit the cabinet was that huge, the pain was unbearable. We were worried too as the injury is very near the spine so we called Mr Satha and Ms Thoo and they suggested bringing him to a nearby clinic. Mr Satha together with Allson and Shermond accompanied Andrew to the clinic while the rest of us are to prepare for the presentation.

Our group is left with 3 girls with one guy down and the other accompanying the other. We managed to complete the slides and rushed to class. Luckily we are the last group to present. We hope as we waited for Andrew and Shermond to come back in time or we will have to present their parts too. Other groups are so super creative and their presentations are super good! We are worried!

Just as we are halfway through, the three guys appeared! We are so happy and relieved. But only Shermond came up for presentation as Andrew was still having his backache and so Gladys took over his part of the presentation. Everything went smoothly and we were all glad that we made it through this small crisis.

We all were exhausted and we all went back to our hostel and the next minute you know, I fell asleep! They took super long to decide where to go for lunch that resulted to me having to eat cup noodle as I was super hungry after the short nap.

For the rest of the day I decided to sleep through and relax myself. I’m super tired!

10th Oct - Day 27

It’s free and easy today! But we decided to complete our LcL project. But all of us are reluctant to do it. All of us wanted to have fun and play as it’s been awhile since we have a full day for ourselves. But nevertheless, we all pushed ourselves to complete what we are required as it’s going to be our presentation tomorrow!

I sat in the room, closed the door and complete my part. Sitting alone will isolate me from all the distractions like the random chatting and the temptations from friends to go out for shopping. I was relieved that I made my way to completing the work.

Was about to do my journal when Gladys nudged me on msn asking me to join them in compiling all our work for our group. What can I do? Go up and join them! That’s why my journal is stuck again.

We stayed up all night to do editing and script writing to prepare for our special segment for our presentation which is Voice Dictation! The slides have to coincide with our script and thanks to Gladys and Alyssa, the slides and script is ready in no time!

We woke up 4am in the morning to do the voice recording as we spent the whole night preparing the script and the slides and also to edit the points that we are going to present to answer the question given to us. The recording was fun and for us who are from REB, it was the first time we did such fun and interesting presentation, all our past presentations are dull and boring. It was a fruitful and interesting experience.

It’s the Wuhan City Tour today to Mulan Pond and this would be our last excursion for this 5 weeks immersion programme. What I can say is, coming to China = Climbing. Even at Mulan Pond site we have lots of climbing to do. Luckily it’s not as tough as Wudang Moutain climb. The sceneries in China are really beautiful and some of them have stories behind. Mulan Pond is where Mulan stays. We took the boat across the pond and arrive at the place where we are going to have our lunch.
The view was beautiful and the lunch was just like how we have it in Singapore. It made me thought of home. Matin and Junwei tried out their bungee jump and Matin looks super handsome! He’s awesome!!!

After lunch, Andrew, Andy, John and Shermond tried out their water balloon. They had super lots of fun! All of us were standing at the shore, listening to their weird noises and were all laughing like mad at the comments they are shouting from inside! Super funny! We all had fun!

To avoid the jam, we left the area early and reach back our hostel at about 7pm. Time for dinner and homework!

It’s my Mum’s birthday today!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY MUM!!!

Supposed to have our LcL presentation today, but Ms Thoo was kind to allow a extension till next Monday instead and so we had Mr Satha’s lesson instead. The projector is still not working and so we had to use our laptop for the lesson again.

During lunch, Ms Thoo texted the SLs the result for the test. Our spirit immediately went low as there were 11 passes and 10 failures. We were all shocked and I was worried that It would be one of me. We didn’t really have a pleasant lunch after the receiving the text.

After lunch, it was supposed to be IS lecture but when the lecturer came and got people to check the projector, the projector still doesn’t work and she would have to postpone her lesson too! She felt apologetic but we told her that it wasn’t her fault. However, after she left, Ms Thoo re-announced the result for the test to the whole class and announced the top 5 for the test. Amazingly, John and Shermond passed their paper while after the class we went to ask Ms Thoo, got to know that I failed my paper and so do Minghui and Alyssa. But of course, we will not be despair because of this and we know how much effort we have put in and this is a wake-up call to almost all of us. What we hope for now is that Mr Satha’s test result wouldn’t be as bad.

It’s time to really buck-up and we did out LcL project really seriously. Slept slightly earlier tonight as we would have a early morning departure tomorrow for a Wuhan City Tour.

7th Oct - Day 24

It’s our test today!!!!! I decided to wake up early to study for the test and Ms Thoo texted me saying that she would like to meet me and Andrew for dinner as she wanted to discuss something with us. We were to meet her after the test.

We had our test at 2pm and we had both Ms Thoo and Mr Satha’s paper and they ended at 4:45pm.
Met Ms Thoo at the slope towards the track and field and we went to have dinner at the steamboat restaurant.

Ms Thoo told us that we were selected to do a speech on the last day of the trip during the graduation ceremony which would be held next Friday. I was asked to prepare it in Chinese and Andrew to prepare it in English.

We had a great dinner and Ms Thoo told us that the LcL project presentation has been postponed to next Monday. We were so happy! And she even told us that she wants to treat all of us for a meal since we just had our Test 1!

Got back to the hostel earlier than the rest as they went to Carrefour to shop. Ironed the clothes and did some editing for the LcL project slides. Slept early today too as I’m really tired.

6th Oct - Day 23

Stayed up the whole night and still wasn’t really appreciated by the sick. Never mind. Sometimes, when we care for someone, they think that we’re a nuisance. Helping them to make themselves feel better and get well from the illness, they refuse to listen or listened reluctantly and probably scold you from the back. Well, I’ve done my part and if my care is not appreciated, at least I know I did not just leave her alone when I’m suppose to take care of her as being her room-mate.

Didn’t go for lesson this morning and Alyssa took down notes for us and we all went out to have lunch at the café restaurant again but this time almost all of us ordered porridge as everyone is in the midst of getting sick. Alyssa assured me that she would take care of herself and would tell me if she is feeling unwell anywhere immediately.

We went to the mini-mart to get some egg (the only thing we found suits us and could be micro-waved) as Ms Thoo told us that Louise has instructed 大婶 to prepare porridge for us. But as we had just had our lunch, we would keep it for dinner instead.

When I got back to the hostel, I went over to大婶’s place to get the pot of porridge. She’s super nice! She even offered prickled vegetable and fish and also rice if we needed more! But of course I only took the pot of porridge. I micro-waved the egg and we heated up preserved peanuts, tofu skin and sausages to go with the porridge and guess what, it taste just like home! It made me miss Singapore even more!
All of us studied and slept early to replenish our strength for our test which is going to be held tomorrow.

5th Oct - Day 22

Lessons as per normal and we woke up again at 7:30am to get ready for Ms Thoo’s lesson. When we reach the classroom, Ms Thoo was already there and she told us that the projector wasn’t working. So we proposed her to send us the slides and we can view it through our laptop as she goes through her lesson and we started calling everyone who hasn’t reach to bring their laptops if possible.

Lesson went on smoothly and Mr Satha introduced us our second assignment for MS Project. It seems to be difficult at first glance but I hope after a little understanding would make things easier.

It’s quite a coincidence that our trip met with two of their bigger occasions like the mid-autumn festival and national day and they had many days of holiday which affected us as we couldn’t use the classrooms on certain days. However, if we knew what we wanted and that we know that we have to complete something, we have to be firm on our stand and Ms Thoo showed these as she told us that she knocked on the glass door of the main entrance to the classroom so loudly that the classroom keeper came and opened the door after much explanations given by Ms Thoo. She could have cancelled the lesson, but in long run, it would affect both the lecturer’s and student’s weekend when we go back to Singapore as we would have to have make-up lessons on Saturdays.

Afternoon’s IS Lecture is cancelled again as the projector couldn’t be used and that the teacher did not respond to Ms Thoo clearly. We used the time wisely to start on our LcL Project which is due this Friday after a push-forward of time.

There was a surprise birthday celebration prepared for Zi Gui as her birthday is on the 6th and the celebration would be held at mid-night. We went over to Weishan’s apartment and we prepared for Zi Gui’s arrival!

During the celebration, Minghui started to feel uncomfortable and vomited. John brought her back to the apartment and we went back straight after the celebration ended. When we got back, she has vomited again and the floor is dirtied. I mopped the floor and asked Alyssa to sleep over at the other apartment as she is not feeling well too and I wouldn’t want her to vomit too.

Cleaned up the whole place again and washed the dirtied clothes from the celebration (creamed smashed all over everyone) and Minghui’s dirtied jacket.

I’m staying up to monitor her. Hope she’ll feel better tmr.

A whole day of studying and assignment and projects again. A bit tired of the apartment and I want to go out and walk soon! Handed up our journal for the first three weeks and proceed to completing our assignment to hand it up in the evening to Mr Satha. It’s super amazing that Ms Thoo manage to complete reading all of our journals by lunch!!! I think I was first to go over to her room to collect back my journal. Her room was like the deluxe of all the apartments! It’s super nice! And CLEAN! Her apartment has one bedroom, a living room and a kitchen, just one bedroom less than ours. But her furniture were of better quality! I’m so envious! Okay, maybe because she’s our dear lecturer. I think Mr Satha’s apartment might be of the same to Ms Thoo’s!

I think that’s all for today, it’s more or less monotonous with all the work to be done.

Second Day of studying and assignment completion.

Woke up at about 10am and started to do my work. As usual, nothing much and Alyssa suggested to make all of us walk to Macdonalds which is like 20-30min walk from our hostel to wake all of us up and have a better meal other than street food for lunch. Macdonalds too can’t be compared to that you get in Singapore.

We went to walk a little around a the area and once again back to the hostel to complete our work which is due tomorrow!

I took a break from working to do some housework or I’ll definitely bore.
That’s all for today and I’m going to do some touch up on my assignment!

2nd Oct - Day 19

PToday is more of a relaxing day and a studying day as we have a whole weekend to complete our journal and assignment. Wanted to start the LcL project but I seems that many of us wants to concentrate on completing the journal and the assignment first.

Went to the food street again to have our lunch and I tried their “ramly-like” burger. It’s not too ad just that it’s still a little too oily for me. But at least its filling and I need not look for other stores to settle my lunch. Thereafter is back to school work again.

Met Mr Satha, Ms Thoo and the rest for dinner at 6pm. It’s Mr Satha’s treat. Thanks Mr Satha! We went back to the restaurant down the street where we had with Haibo for the first meal again as if we were to go to Carrefour at this timing, there won’t be any vancancy for all 23 of us! Had a try on their western food and it’s not too bad just that as expected, no as nice as that we can get in Singapore.

Well, there’s not much fun today but studying.

Today is China’s National Day! Everyone in the country is on 7days holiday. Some students went back to hometown, some stayed in school and some might have went to Shanghai or Beijing to celebrate this joyous occasion with friends and family.

As for us, the school has arranged a one day tour to the “Yellow Crane Tower” which is a tower with a very beautiful fairytale story, the “East Lake” and the Hankou Garden.

First stop is the east lake. We toured the East lake and tried their haunted trail and roller coaster. To be honest, nothing much compared to Singapore’s what more compare to the better onces. Its just for experience! The scenery at the lake was very pretty and the weather was good!

Second stop is the “Yellow Crane Tower”

The fairytale story goes like this. Once, there was an old master who came across this small little restaurant in the village. He asked for food from the owner and the owner gave him the best that he has. The old master did not pay for the meal and he even came back on other days. However, every time he comes, the owner served him all the best and did not complain of the non-payment meal.

When the old master was about to leave the village, he thanked the restaurant owner however told him that he has nothing to give him in return, but he took a mandarin orange peel and drew a yellow crane on the wall of the restaurant. The old master told the owner that with the sound of three claps, the yellow crane would come alive and dance for him. Half believing, the owner clapped and the crane did come alive and dance in the middle of the restaurant. The old master then left.

Because of this yellow crane, many people came to the restaurant to dine and the business of the restaurant went very well. When the old master came back, the owner thanked him and clapped for the yellow crane once again and the old master sat on it, playing a flute flew off. To remember the old master and the yellow crane, the owner built the yellow crane tower.

China has many many of such fairytale which is very touching and meaningful. For me, this story tells us that sometimes your rewards for doing good doesn’t come straight away but it takes time for people to notice you’re true willingness in doing so and reward you in accordance. There is also always a give and take.
After touring the tower, we went to have our lunch at Hankou and we proceed to the garden at Hankou which is of the biggest around and also to get a feel of how the locals celebrate National Day. We bough kites and flew them and bubbles to recall our childhood memory!

Oh and did you see that clock building up there? It chimes every 1 hr!

It’s quite a relaxing day today.

30th Sept - Day 17

IS lecture for today is cancelled as the locals are on holiday for their national day which falls on 1st Oct 2010 which is tmr. Had Ms Thoo’s lecture in the morning, completing 2 chapters. The lecture wasn’t very hard to understand with the help of Ms Thoo’s examples and she made dry chapter theory interesting.

We had the whole afternoon to ourselves but of course we made full use of it to start our assignments and projects and to do some housework!

The school became very quiet after many students left the school to return to their hometown to celebrate the national day with their family members. They bought train tickets to travel all the way back. It’s not like Singapore where at most 1½hrs journey we can reach home from school. Shortest distance can even be 15min! They have to take long distance transport home as China is really very very very big! Teenagers from all over china come to Wuhan to study.

As Singapore kids, we have the luxury that Singapore is not very big and transportation around is very convenient with the fact that the population in Singapore is not much compared to china. Even if its rush hour, catching the next bus wouldn’t be a problem, but here in Wuhan, even after waiting for 2-3 buses, you still aren’t able to squeeze up the bus!This is how fortunate we Singaporeans are even though the weather is more or less always the same. Here in Wuhan is aircon temperature. Not long after would be winter.

You’ll never get to experience the change in season in Singapore.

29th Sept - Day 16

Ms Thoo lesson in the morning as usual and to our favour her lesson though its dry but easy to catch the idea and understand them. Her way of teaching is really not bad! I like!

And guess what, just nice that Ms Thoo ended the lesson early and the two little kids came to our hostel alone and look for us! MingHui saw them outside and brought them in. got orange juice for them again and had to say bye bye to them to go for lunch and IS lesson. They don’t even want to leave at first!

IS was a disaster again. The lecture was postponed and we were not informed and we actually waited for the teacher for 1 hr before we are told that it’s postponed! Discussed about the LcL Project group distribution and left to rest at our hostel. We arranged to meet again at 4:30 to go to Carrefour together to get stuffs and have dinner together with Mr Satha and Ms Thoo.

Our mission at the mall is to get Minghui a jacket and a jeans as she’s freezing the past few days sure to her lack of the items and only has shorts, leggings and super thin shirts. Can’t stand it so made her buy. With Ms Thoo’s help we managed to complete the mission!!!

Went to the restaurant that Royston introduced but eh services is terrible. They serve the food super super duper slow and some dish cant even be served! In the end we ate from 6:30pm – 9pm. Super waste time. In the end I made them give a compensation and they did! I WON! In china really you have to be able to over speak them to get what you ought to have. If you’re timid, you will sure be bullied and never get what is ought to be yours.

Took the van back hostel again and I am the one getting the vans. The drivers all think I’m local again. Ok! So be it I’m LOCAL!. Haix…. Nevermind. Being thought as a local wont get bullied de! YAY!!!

28th Sept - Day 15

Morning lesson IS and sorry to say that the teacher’s voice made me want to fall asleep. But the materials prepared and discussed were very enriching and I learnt alot of their culture and traditional practices eg not to wrap gifts in white, preferable red or gold so as not to give the idea that it’s for the dead.

Afternoon lesson is back to Ms Thoo again and I love her way of teaching as she goes straight to the point and doesn’t waste any redundant time and we are dismissed early from lesson! The little kids (we met at the basketball court yesterday) came over and we played with them. They are super cute.

Let’s talk about dinner too! We arranged to meet Yasha to go for steamboat together but it was raining so heavily that I got to go to the super-mart to get umbrellas for everyone to share. The quality of the umbrellas are not too bad $4 singapore dollar! The steamboat was a good recommendation as the food were not too bad as it’s not very salty nor very oily. The soup base is real good (the spicy one) and their food is cheap – 3 sticks of ingredient for 1Yuan = 20cents Singapore dollar. Affordable and good and filling. Yasha went of early and we settled the bill and got back to hostel. Everyone is so super tired that the minute we reach back to the hostel we are dead asleep on the bed already.

Today morning is Mr Satha’s lesson. He completed teaching us how to use MS Project and we are given assignment to complete by next Mon. I still don’t know what to add in to the list of construction works for my assignment! Help! Hope I can complete on time and do a good job.

Edith (our Psychology IS lecturer from china) thought us the religions in china and it was very enriching in getting to know the religions that are very well respected in china and those that are not. She even arranged for us to meet the local students for an interaction time together to get to know more about their country and the religions and traditional practices.

Went to Carrefour early with Pamela, Alyssa and Gladys to reserve Ajisen and went to shop shop a little while waiting for those who went to play basketball earlier to reach and meet us for dinner together. We said meet at 7pm in the end they are late la.Got home late but very happy cause I got my tummy filled :D

24th-26th Sept - 3D2N Three Gorges Tour

As usual for all outings, we have to set off early in the morning as the bus ride to our destination is not very near our university. The meeting time was suppose to be 10am but suddenly while we were preparing, Ms Thoo called at 9:25am and say that the bus is here to pick us up and ask us to hurry. I haven’t even comb my hair properly and I have to rush down le. Was combing my hair and biting a packet of swiss roll in my mouth, super unglam. Lucky that no one is taking photos! Haha! The bus ride was about 4hrs to hotel where we will stay for 2 nights and it’s located in one of the local university and the facilities again are not bad compared to that we have in our hostel. Its free and easy before dinner and after dinner and that’s all for the day.

Second day was the day where we are to set off from the hotel to the ferry terminal to hop on to the ferry for a ride to the Three Gorges. The bus ride was about 1hr plus from the hotel but we still set of early as the ferry sets of early and takes 4hr to reach the destination. We were however fortunate as we got to take this very luxurious ferry for the 4hrs and all of us were so happy. We went through the experiences of passing through the dam and the wind, although is very strong but was very nice and we all enjoyed ourselves at the top most deck of the ferry and we even played in the cold! Cool huh?! Ordered coffee and nuts to pass time and got to listen to the pretty on-ferry guide explaining the use of the dam and the construction of it. The sceneries are super nice.

On the ferry, there is a section of song and dance and audiences are invited to join in a small game after the performance. As the area for the performance has many locals, they smoked and all of us didn’t go down except Mr Satha (So Brave!) He was invited to join the interactive section and although he doesn’t really understand what the rules of the game is but he was very cooperative and he enjoyed the interaction. I managed to take pictures of him before my camera battery died off.
When we reached our destination of the Three Gorges tour, we took the tour bus to have our lunch and set off for the 3 stations of visit. First stop is to see the model of the Three Gorges and to take a look at the beautiful sceneries around it.

They planted so many beautiful plants around and it made me cant resist to take photos of them. Second stop is to get a taste of the height of the dam. Its height is about 185km and the plane we are standing on is of the same height as it is. Third stop is where artist drew a whole picture of the long Three Gorges and it’s on display. However photo-taking is not allowed. There after when the trip ended it was about 4pm. We reached back to the restaurant near our hotel for dinner at about 5pm and headed back to the hotel to rest thereafter. Had lots of fun with my team mates for this trip and they are really fun and nice. We enjoyed the company of each other a lot.

Third day, we set off to take a look at a waterfall. When we reached, there were no one there and we are the only group at the area. This made the site seeing very peaceful as it’s just our team. We went through behind the waterfall and if you did not buy the raincoat, you’ll definitely get wet as the waterfall is very strong and even your shoes would get wet! Crossing the little rivers by rocks, and hills to hills by a long suspending bridge. Getting close to the nature is so good and relaxing.

On the way back to hostel which is suppose to be 4hrs, we experienced 2 traffic jams on the way which made our trip 5hrs in total. The only accident that I saw was a whole lorry of cabbage got turned over and the cabbages were all over the road that caused the traffic jam. I manage to get a shot of the scene! During the long waiting, I also say 2-3 lorries transporting large amounts of cotton flower! So super cool. Take a look at the photo!

23rd Sept - Day 10

Second day of Mid Autumn Holiday, the housekeeper for the classroom didn’t come to school in the morning and cant get him to open the classroom for us. Mr Satha was disappointed as he has topics to complete. So we have to watch the first year orientation ceremony and can only wait to have lunch together before we can decide what to do next.

Their first year students have to go to school 2 weeks before school start for army-like training and only today their orientation actually start. Their opening ceremony is for them to march in the field and salute to their principle. Ok, honestly saying, their marching cant be compared to actual army guys, especially the male students. They are super slack. But taking a look at the amount of students they have, its 2-3times of Ngee Ann total number of students la. Not easy to train them.

We went back to the restaurant for lunch as Ms Thoo say that the porridge we packed for her yesterday was nice. (oh and I forgot to say that Ms Thoo wasn’t feeling well for the past few days) We ordered fish again but this time round all three of us (Alyssa, Gladys and me) got choked and poked by the fish bone!. So we say the next time no more fish! Hahaha!!!!

Got back to school and the housekeeper is there! Got him to open the classroom and we had a 1 hour lesson. No one have to mood to study la. We all want to go Carrefour to get our stuff for tomorrow’s trip to 3 Gorges as its 3D2N on local cruise.
We ate tapanyaki at the mall and we say that it’s the preparation for the cruise trip! Haha… cause we heard that the cruise meals are not really good. I got a jacket too as the weather is getting cooler and the one I brought is very thin.

Its time for me to packed my bag now.

22nd Sept - Day 9

Its Mid Autumn Festival today. The school is on holiday for 3 days and we can’t use the classroom today! So we decided to go to Han Kou in the hope to take a look as it’s a whole day off. But as it’s the first day of holiday for their locals, they were all frantically taking buses and cab. Alyssa even arranged to meet her grandma at Han Kou and we can’t even get there! In the end Abbie called one of the previous batch senior and he came to met us. Alyssa grandma insist to see her today so she said she will come to our school instead, we got Xiao Zhang to direct her and he was kind enough to even help bring her to us when she reached from the bus stop! While waiting for grandma, we went to Hai Bo’s martial school that he opened and take a look and he and the guys actually played martial and it was the funniest thing of the day knowing our school guys are all jokers.

We went to a restaurant near the martial school and the food there is delicious especially the fish! Alyssa Grandma finally reached and she bought us 4kg of chestnuts. Oh…. We all cant finish it. Haha….

We wanted to go shopping but we realized its raining too long and if we continue to walk in the rain we will definitely get sick and so we decided to bring grandma to our hostel to take a look. She wanted to buy 20 packets of crackers for each of us la. But Alyssa SOS me and I tried very hard and manage to persuade her to only buy 5 packets. (or else we all cant finish) She left at about 3:30pm and we all stayed home and so nothing much already la!

Ok as usual lesson again! But our dear Mr Satha was good enough to push back the timing to 10am so that we can get enough sleep as we reach back late to hostel yesterday (as stated), we learnt to draw more activity on arc and also started how to draw Activity on Node (A.O.N) something much complicated as thereafter we are asked to identify the critical path after setting the A.O.N and plotting in the backward pass and forward pass to help identify the critical path. Not very easy as there could be many possible critical paths from first view but only one (which is the one which adds up to be equal to the ending duration) is correct. So quite tedious.

Mr Satha was very “High” today and ended lesson on time and suggested to go for our Halal lunch with our Halal classmate and thereafter go to Carrefour together. And Mr Satha treated all 19 of us for the bus ride over to the mall.Shall skip the shopping part. Shopping is very typical la. Nothing special. But when we got back to hostel and started to wash the pile of clothes which is like a little hill due to our 3D2N trip, the wind outside started to blow super big. The weather in Wuhan is really unpredictable. The night would be a freezing night. I hope that tmr would not be too cold but cooling and the sun will still be as bright as we really have many many clothes to dry and wash!

Woke up early in the morning to prepare set of for our WuDang Mountain Expedition.

First Day was practically traveling and checking-in to our first hotel. So happy that we’re staying in a hotel! The facilities is better than what we have at our hostel la. We had ice breaking games at the space near the hotel but unfortunately due some rough pulling, Alyssa fell and hurt her knee cap. Despite the fall, the helped all of us bond even deeper as all showed their concern to her and in the end we played game together in our room. Alyssa even say that it’s worth it as not only that she saved her camera, she made us bond even more than just playing ice-breaking games.

Second day, woke up even earlier, 5am in the morning as we are going to climb the WuDang Mountain which heard to consist of 3000 steps. We sat the bus up for 45min and start the climb. We all started fine but half way through I got a heavy head, probably due to the pressure and the mist and my low blood pressure, I have to stop climbing before I puke. And Alyssa (who I stated earlier injured her knee) felt like puking, so we both stopped and one of the tour guide accompanied us. While waiting for the rest to complete the climb (which estimated to be a 4hr up climb and 2 hr down climb) Alyssa really vomited. Luckily she was alright.

We saw many old uncles carrying lots of cartons of drinks up the hill to the sellers. They are really pitiful and they earn really little from it. Me and Alyssa even tipped one of them (although we didn’t get any service from him) S$2 Sing. On the way up and down, there are also those olden times sedan where 2 person would carry the person. We were told that even though they charge like S$100 Sing for a ride but in the end 50% goes to the government and 50% is to be shared between two of them again. This made them earn very little at the end of the day.

While on waiting, the tour guide who is with us (Xiao Guo) she told us that the monks and priests from the temple up the mountain would usually climb up and down the 300steps everyday as their morning routine and with many years of practice they would seem to be flying instead of flying. They actually found the tactic of climbing the flight of stairs with little effort.

Up on the mountain…. Heard from our teacher – Ms Thoo, Abbie’s asthma attacked and the inhaler we bought they didn’t know how to use (she forgot to free her prescribed on from Singapore) but thank god that after a rest she was able to recover. It was greatful that some of our friends when down the peak to inform one of the tour guide while some asked around for doctors and help on the inhaler. It actually showed the love and concern we have towards each other. In the end, everyone came down the mountain safely and we proceeded into the city to check-in to our second hotel which is in the city which is definitely even much better that the one up the hill.

Third day, woke up slightly later as we are not in rush to get back to the hostel. Went to visit the famous Zhu Ge Liang Study Place (Gu Long Zhong). Its also know as his second home. He started staying at the place since 17 to study for 10 years and got a wife when he was 27. His wife is also a clever lady whose name is Huang Yue Ying. It was said that when Zhu Ge Liang was 27 (age to get married) his teacher who is Huang Yue Ying’s father tested Zhu Ge Liang by publicizing that his daughter is a super ugly lady. He asked Zhu Ge Liang if he is willing to marry her as although she is ugly but her intelligence is compatible to that of Zhu Ge Liang. Zhu Ge Liang agreed and said that knowledge and character is more important the appearance. It is only on the night of the marriage that Zhu Ge Liang realize that Huang Yue Ying is not ugly at all but super pretty.

We also went to the place where the three warriors – Zhang Fei, Lui Bei and Guan Yu invited Zhu Ge Liang to go down the hill to help them. They actually have three trees outside which are used by the three of them to tied their horses too. One of the three is very near while the other two is further. The one nearest belongs to Liu Bei. This actually means that Liu Bei is keen on inviting Zhu Ge Liang out while the other two think that it’s not worth it. This is because Zhu Ge Liang at that time gave the, many challenges to complete before he agrees to go down the hill to help them.

The actual place where Zhu Ge Liang stayed was demolished at during the Ming Dynasty as the Ming King was told that the fengshui at that place is very good (in front water – well, behind hill) and so he demolished it to pre-built his grave. But due to some reason (which I forgot :P) the grave was demolished too.
Bought Zhu Ge Liang Medal, one for me and one for my brother to wish us both pass our exams with flying colours.

Oh forgot to mention, ZiGui’s camera almost got lost! Before we left the hotel, ZiGui realize that her camera wasn’t with her. But while we were at the Zhu Ge Liang Place, The hotel called and said that they found it! Thank God!
There after we sat another 4-5hr bus journey back to our hostel and went to have massage to relief the pain from the climb. The massage was not too bad. Just that they did not arrange according to what is promised. But overall they service was not too bad. I enjoyed it! :D it cost me S$12 Sing – It’s worth it actually for 45min-1hr massage).

Andrew caught a fever. Hope that he’ll get well soon. Or Gladys will be sad. Hahah!!!

17th Sept - Day 4

Lesson 2 started. Mr Satha though us how to do the most basic for schedule planning and we tried out A.O.A (Activity on Arrow/Arc) and it was abit complicated at first but after 2nd example we were all near expert! (ok, Kidding… not so soon)

IS first lesson was held today too. Our first teacher was Mr Zhang – 张子一老师. He told us that his name means the one and only son in the family. Quite cool though although in China most parts only allow to have one child per family but the surname made it such a coincidence to make the name pop. He thought us on the history of Wuhan and also abit on the different dynasty in China and also introduced us to many nice places (places of interests) and also food. I think we scared him abit cause he confessed that he was nervous for being requested to speak in English and that we ask him alot of things on food and shopping. He was a great enough to circle the places on the map for us! Most importantly is the recommendation for foot massage as Mr Satha was searching for one.

After that we went back to the shopping mall and tried their Pizza Hut here. Its not too bad though just that their package deal is different from ours.

The best part is, after shopping, we went to catch a cab back to hostel (which is different from Singapore where you flag for the cab, you have to chiong for the cab in other words to catch the cab before others do) and because we have 5 of us (shermond, Alyssa, minghui, john and me) we have to separate 2 cabs and I took the cab with shermond after Alyssa and the rest took a previous cab. Our cab fare actually jump to $65Yuan Dollars! (S$13) when the cab we took the previous day and the one Alyssa’s cab today was only $15Yuan Dollars! (S$3) including tips! Me and Shermond kana cheated! Haiz. What to do?

I guess the next cab I take I make sure I pay only $15Yuan. I want to try to argue for the price! Haha :D or should I not. I think I should, cause if not very expensive. (ok I realize I’m answering my own question)

Tmr i'll be going for a 3D2N trip to a quite far place cause we climbing the Mudang Mountain on Sunday! Arhhhhh!!!!!!! Church!!!!!!!!! (LALALALALA - Singing to myself like a crazy) ok no link -_-"

16th Sept - Day 3

Lesson started today morning and it was 4hr and 30min long. Mr Satha too enthu into his water topic – which is not our syllabus! Hahaha. But nevermind.
Went for a Halal restaurant with the muslim classmates and Ms Catherine. Ms Catherine treated us to the lunch – Thanks Ms Catherine. It’s the only Halal restaurant of shall I say food stall around. Its Halal Beef Ramen is not too bad but still a little oily. Overall its nice and filling – just in case I cant find something edible for dinner.

The weather is worst than Singapore now, hot and dry somemore!!! I’m getting sunburn soon!!!!

Oh Oh Oh!!!! Our water pipe for the hostel burst at night when all of us wanted to bathe!!!! The water that came out for our room was very small and those at the upper floor no water at all. For your info I stay level 2 and there are 4 levels in total. The thing is our senior batch and the batch right before us also experienced the same thing. I think high possibility is the care taker of our hostel purposely plan the pipe burst for us to have more to write for out essay.

Continued with our hand-wash experience and with the weather so hot and dry in the morning, we learnt to make use of it to hang it out into the sun to dry them. And we can collect it back in the evening 100% dry!!! (see how hot the weather it is here!)

Ok, First thing first, I'm using this blog back to blog on the updates cause i have no idea why tumblr is not working with me. I think using blogger for so long tumbler dont like me! haiz. ok now to the main topic - Wuhan Journal!!!

14th & 15th Sept : Its time to talk about my apartment. Didn’t manage to snap a picture of the gate yet but we’re staying in the University hostel called “Hai Yi Lou”.

In the pictures are the kitchen and the sleeping room of our apartment. The kitchen only has a usable sink and microwave. No gas to use to cook. The bathroom has washing machine which we gave up using and we chose manual. Alyssa will scrub step the clothes with detergent and I’ll squeeze dry!

On Wednesday, we went on campus orientation held by one of the lecturer in charge of us. Her names cause Louise. Ok, one of the photos suppose is take the long pathway we have to take pass the other student hostel but our dear Shermond like to be EXTRA.

Ms Catherine and Mr Satha treated us to a restaurant for lunch at “Golden Hans” which is located at Guang Gu Centre near the Carrefour. $42yuan per person for a buffet.

Bought my new luggage there and it only cost me $50 sing and had macdonalds for dinner. Not as nice as Singapore and their curry sauce is not curry sauce but chilli powder.

Well, as expected, the buildings are developed but the hygiene still needs to be improved.

went to the office to collect my lecture notes for my wuhan immersion trip (study oversea for 5-weeks)

at first thought i thought it would only be a thin booklet just like what Cheng's team got. but it turned out to be 3 booklets and are all not very thin!!!

wrapped them up with cute transparent wrapping to protect them :D

in actual fact the topics are quite interesting - computer aided work is my favorite :D

will be creating another blog specially for the trip (charmaines wuhan experience) soon.

Tips to keep yourself away from stress:

1) Always remember to start studying way way before exam period. This is to make yourself well prepared.

2) Sleep early. Have enough sleep to prepare your mind to remember more things and also to be able to wake up early when needed.

3) Exercise. Its good to exercise when you think that its too much to handle. Relax yourself and start again. Doing things that you enjoy doing helps too! :)

4) Drink lots of water and eats lots of fruit. Keep your body healthy. A good skin complextion gives oneself confidence.
WE CAN DO IT!

everyone was expecting BRAZIL to win the worldcup this year again (with pass records of consecutive winnings)

However, SPAIN took it this year.

any of you bet? got win? haha... if you forgot to bet on the extra time, you loose out le. they only won in the extra time and not full time!!! (i didnt bet of course, but my friends did).

early in the morning my classmates all come in to class super sleepy..(haha, of course due to worldcup screening!)

and finnaly got back UPE(urban planning and economics) common test paper and amazingly i passed!!! (9.5/15)

and so now i only failed my real estate law paper and so have to prepare for the retest. haiz.... i all apply wrong lor.... :(

Had a great time out with them (lina, shunan, and yinghui) during holidays and really miss the times with them. love them super much!!!!

Its been a week pass school reopen after term break! i totally miss school breaks and holidays!!!!......

in the mist of breakdown and theres only ignore i can do? why must i always be the one who have to ignore and listen when its not the right thing and tolerate all this things!!!!....

stung by a bee!!!

I got Stung by a BEE!!!

went west coast park on tuesday and got atung by a BEE just by standing at the stage area. i was just taking photos of the event la!!!!

nvm... k here's the experience of being stung....

first i thought it was a ant. so i swept it and it was painful... den i realise it was a bee sting!!!!

can still see the bee's butt so i took it out and it started to sting (sting=feel painful)

haha... got my friends to get me wet tissue and mopiko to put on the wound. nothing else we had on hand. my lecturers even ask if got vinegar la... picnic who brings vinegar... so cute right!!! haha... sometimes lecturers are just co cute!!!

yea. so thesting actually only last arounf 30 min and it would turn to itch.

my doctor friend say that if only the area where it is stung itch it means that i'm allergy to the sting poison only very little. so nothing to worry. plus its suppose to lead to fever but till nowi'm still pretty fit! haha

so since mine only itch at the stung area, i'm pretty sure i'm fine. dont worry :D

Bee stings can lead to high fever for some and rashes on the whole body. so people please becareful when you go for a picnic k? :D

COMMON TEST IS ON ITS WAY AGAIN!!!!

Its less than 5 months since my exam for last acedamic year and now common test is coming again..

it marks the start of mugging again...
tried my best to understand urban planning and economics (another ecos module) but still dont get a thing. only way out - memorise!

hope this time round i'll be able to push my GPA higher and get the internship path i want for next year. really want 6-month internship so that i dont have to do FYP (Final year project) but this would mean i will need to put in double the effort as there will be many many more modules squeezed in one semester!

now... its STUDY TIME!!!!!

for the last few days its been super humid in the morning and rain non-stop in the afternoon. the same sequence everyday. today till now its 1:45pm and i hope it doesnt rain when its time to go home.

reports have shown that for the past week till 28th of April, Rain is the most acidic. a 750 years acid rain due to the volcanic ash of ireland and it might cause skin cancer easily if it comes into contact with the human skin.

trying to avoid the rain everyday untill sian liao. now the weather weird weird de. so bored. i wan a windy and cloudy weather den this stupid weather its making me fall sick. haiz.

REAL ESTATE LAW IS FUN!!!!

Just had the first proper lecture on Real Estate Law yesterday!!! i so so so enjoy law modules. it was like a recap on the principles of law that our dear Mr Aaron Chua tought us and new real estate law concepts. Probably because i read through the notes myself, the lesson was easy to catch and i seriously enjoyed it! so fun! i hope to score well for this module to pull my GPA up to get closer to my desired GPA or 3.6!!!!!!

for those who dont really like law modules, heres a tip. listen attentively in lesson and put the things into practice in life. like there are many many law related things happening around us and you can put your knowledge to it. think things in the perspective of law and you'll start to like these modules :D
